Arman Khalilbeigi is a digital designer and educator specializing in Design Computation, Robotics, and the Integration of advanced fabrication technologies into design processes. His work bridges computer science, digital fabrication, and material systems. He provides international design and fabrication solutions commercially; His work centers on data-driven design, with a strong passion for working with algorithms, data, and machines. He has presented at various leading international conferences on computational design. His works have been exhibited at venues from Germany to Italy, and he is a published author in Europe. Since 2015, he has directed digital design courses from Canada to east Asia. He recently completed his PhD at the University of Calgary, with a dissertation titled: “Gamified Design Configurator: A Performance-Aware, Data-Driven Framework for Enabling Informed Decision-Making by Non-Experts in Early-Stage Design.”

Parakeet3D Plugin
Partially released in 2018, Parakeet is a collection of algorithmic design tools developed on algorithmic functional pattern generation. Some components are publicly available via food4rhino, where the plugin has surpassed 110,000 users. Parakeet is used globally in both professional design practices and academic curricula.
